This morning we sold our house! This is a blessing, and it starts a ripple effect of progress toward our move. We are still spinning as to what steps need to happen next. It is also a bittersweet feeling. We still love the home we have built to be ours, but home is where my family is, not a house.
So more details...We close in a month. My friends, that is a lot of packing to get done during naptime! We starting packing a month ago, but there is still a lot to do. We have been lucky to score many, many free boxes from Tony's coworkers. One less expense. We are still looking for boxes that are tall and flatish for our pictures. If anybody has some, please let us know. On a related note, last week Uriah learned to say box :)
Did we get a deal? Well, I think every body is looking for a deal the buyer included. It is also not a great time of year to sell, and the Fort Wayne market is still not as strong. We have done many updates to this home, but many of them can be considered maintenance. With that being said, we reached a fair price and sold it for more than we bought it for in 2004. I hope the buyers will enjoy our home, we certainly did.
Please pray that we will be able to handle all the stress this month brings us. I will be a single parent again as Tony is leaving to set up temporary housing for us in Texas. Next up is inspection...
