- Tony was offered a position working in Mckinney , TX this year. It is a one year position and a great opportunity to work with very high profile people. However at the end of the year, he needs to find his own job. Being in Texas versus Indiana will make this much easier.
- Yes, we will miss our family and friends. However, we feel the Lord is calling us this way and He has a plan for us on the other side. Thankfully, we will be able to travel, text, call, email, skype, ect and y'all better come and visit!
- Our house is on the market currently. We are optimistic we should be getting an offer soon. Fingers crossed!
- The housing market down there is VERY different! Houses sell quickly sometimes for over the asking price. I took a trip down a month ago to house hunt while Tony was working. It did not take long to tell that our budget was not going to go as far as we had hoped. We put in offer in on a house, and were out bid. Boo!Then the back up house we chose sold for over asking. Back to the drawing board...
- As a result, we are currently looking for an apartment with a short term lease so we can be in place to snatch the perfect house for us. Although this is a good solution, it creates other problems. It might mean moving our Indiana home, and putting it in storage in Texas. Or it might mean having someone else pack the house while we are out of state. And thinking about driving 16 hours with a toddler gives me a stomach ache :)

We are excited for a change, especially the warmer weather, but of course we are also apprehensive. It is a HUGE change, and many things need to line up correctly to have a smooth transition. Here are the current facts:

I'm excited for the adventure for your family! God puts these opportunities out there for us and you are smart enough to listen to Him! My brother lived in Grapevine, I'm not sure where that is to where you're looking but it was a great area!
